Safety Environmental Training Manager

# Primary Responsibilities
+ Manage Environmental and Safety for the Plant. Oversee the development and implementation of programs to comply with all federal, state and local regulations and company policies. Monitor environmental and safety regulations and manage safety training requirements as needed for all employees. Confer with and act as a resource to all facility questions and problems relating to environmental, safety and industrial hygiene issues. Assist and collaborate with other departments such as, manufacturing, engineering, legal and executive management on developing and recommending safety, environmental and industrial hygiene programs. Direct the Plant?s environmental sustainability and recycling programs. Oversee writing, renewing and updating environmental permits related to Air, Wastewater and Storm water. Oversee/produce monthly and year-end Environmental reports, OSHA logs and sign documents, certify accuracy of audits, reports and laboratory analysis.
+ Direct and develop the strategic direction of Crown?s Employee Development Program considering future needs of the Company. Responsibilities include design and implementation of an effective employee training and education plan specific to all job codes, develop training curriculum and methods, lead and develop subject matter experts to effectively perform required training, conduct training and education, track training and measure effectiveness of the overall system. In addition, this position acts as the liaison between the corporate training and education group and Crown New Castle. Maintain knowledge of training methods and technology available and apply the methods and technology in a cost-effective manner. Identify research and recommend appropriate training materials that are available from outside vendors. Teach New Hire Orientation.
+ Manage departmental personnel issues such as assigning work, hiring/terminating employees, conducting performance reviews, etc. Manage all aspects of New Castle Environmental, Safety and Employee training, education and development. Monitor all related plant trainers/subject matter experts to ensure they are using the materials in the method and manner intended. Prepare and monitor the department's budget.
+ Perform duties such as creating/revising job descriptions, conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals and completing annual wage reviews. Responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities.
+ Create, document, implement and maintain all safety policies and procedures that apply to New Castle Operations. Evaluate all new chemicals or material requested for use within the facility. Manage the incident evaluation system and perform periodic safety statistical analysis. Recommend measures to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses. Respond to or delegate requests from manufacturing and MoveMore related to environmental and safety issues. Act as a consultant in selected situations for individual professional development. Stay abreast of developments in software, programming and communication software through professional development activities (publications, seminars, association membership and participation).
# Qualifications
+ This position requires a four-year college degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, or equivalent, including strong chemistry background or adequate job experience in environmental and safety. Ten years of prior experience in manufacturing safety and/or environmental relating to OSHA regulations, injury prevention, air emissions, wastewater treatment and hazardous waste disposal are necessary for this position. In addition, excellent communication and presentation skills are required with at least five years of management experience, above average PC skills and knowledge of technology are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
