MoveMore Shop Service Manager

Primary Responsibilities
Direct and manage all service personnel, including lead and shop technicians, Service Customer Care, and Parts Department personnel. Plan the flow of work through the shop. Direct and manage all activities for the parts department, not limited to stocking levels, inventory control and personnel development. Control costs for all shop activities and capital projects. Train and oversee the Shop Technicians in proper safety practices for servicing and operating equipment, as well as other personnel reporting to this position. Oversee inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of lift trucks and other equipment. Review Shop Technicians' paperwork and timecards. Communicate with MoveMore management and other location personnel on shop work status. Collaborate with rental department regarding maintenance and condition of rental fleet.
Participate in recruiting and interviewing activities. Responsible for training, coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities. Perform employee performance reviews. Make compensation recommendations. Work with personnel department and management on disciplinary actions including terminations.
Administer Company goals and policies through monthly service/safety meetings. Maintain paper flow, records, and reports as needed for efficient operation of the shop. Coordinate and follow factory service requests, tests and field modifications. Assist accounts receivable staff with past due accounts. Process paperwork in regard to Workers' Compensation and accidents. Oversee the organization of the MoveMore portion of the facility, shop tools and equipment. May oversee MoveMore compliance with safety, DOT, and environmental regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by MoveMore management.
High school diploma or equivalent required plus 5-7 years' related experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and decision making skills.
Good leadership skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Must have valid driving privileges and able to safely operate lift trucks and vehicles.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
